Let go. be. The Bridge to GRIT
Let go. be. isn’t about giving up,
it’s about creating space for what comes next.
It’s the pause before the work,
the breath that lets you see things clearly enough to begin again.
For most of my life, I didn’t know how to pause.
I reacted, tried to fix, tried to control.
If something felt uncomfortable, I ran from it or tried to make it fit the way I wanted.
But peace doesn’t come from control,
it comes from alignment.
And you can’t align when your mind is spinning in reaction.
That’s where Let go. be. became my lifeline.
It stopped me long enough to see what was really happening inside me.
It gave me space to ask the questions that would lead me into the GRIT work.
Because that’s what Let go. be. really is,
the bridge that connects surrender to growth,
the pause that opens the door to GRIT.
When I let go, I can finally begin to grow,
and that’s where the GRIT Framework starts to take shape.
Growth asks me, what is this moment trying to teach me instead of what can I control?
It reminds me that every struggle is a classroom if I stop fighting the lesson.
Resilience shows up when I stay in the pause instead of running from it.
It’s choosing to sit with discomfort long enough to see what’s underneath it.
That’s where strength begins.
Integrity meets me when I’m honest in that still space.
When I stop defending myself long enough to admit what’s mine.
It’s where my words and my actions start to line back up again.
Tenacity grows when I move forward from peace instead of panic.
It’s the quiet strength to keep showing up when I don’t see results yet.
That’s what Let go. be. does,
it clears the space for GRIT to do its work.
Together, they are the foundation of how I live,
the pause and the practice,
the surrender and the strength.
Every time I Let go. be., I make room for GRIT to move through me.
Every time I practice GRIT, I return to that pause with more awareness and more grace.
It’s not one or the other,
it’s both,
and that’s where peace meets power.
Reflection:
Where do you need to pause before you push?
What might change if you stopped reacting and started growing through GRIT instead?
Before you push, pause.
That’s where growth begins.
