You Don’t Need to Fix Your Life

For a long time, I thought the answer was to fix everything outside of me.

Fix the job.
Fix the relationship.
Fix the bank account.
Fix the body.
Fix the schedule.

I kept rearranging the pieces of my life
but leaving the same version of me in the center of it.

So nothing actually changed.
It just looked different for a minute.

I didn’t need a new life.
I needed to stop abandoning myself inside the one I already had.

That’s the part no one tells you.
You can change cities, partners, careers, routines, even your entire identity…

but if you don’t change the way you show up to your own life,
you’ll just recreate the same pain in a different setting.

The pause taught me that fixing my life was never the work.
Facing myself was.

Reflection:
What part of you keeps showing up in every “new chapter” you try to create?
